New Member Registration

These instructions are for new members of our club only. If you have already registered for a session through SportsEngine before, please follow the instructions on this page.

1. Sign up for a free two-week trial

We highly recommend signing up your athlete for a free two-week trial of Santa Barbara Premier so they can meet their coaches and teammates before final registration. If you would not like your athlete to complete a trial, skip to step 2.

  1. Fill out the SB Premier Two-Week Trial Registration form (see below)
  2. Register with USA Water Polo and select "Trial Athlete". This is ​available only once in a lifetime and as first-time membership. If you need help filling out this form, look at the "Join USA Water Polo" tab below. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER WITH USAWP

After you fill out the two-week trial registration form, we will reach out with additional information on what team your athlete will practice on for the duration of the trial, and when/where practice will take place.

2. Register with USA Water Polo

 Every SBPWP water polo player is required to join USA Water Polo for insurance purposes and additional benefits outlined on their website.

This must be done after the two-week trial period has expired.

A USA Water Polo membership is $87 per calendar year (for a silver membership).  If you already have a current membership, you can move on to step 3.

  1. Go to the USA Water Polo registration site at this link.
  2. Under "Athlete Memberships", select a Silver membership or higher and click the "Sign Up" button at the bottom of the page.
  3. Select "California" and "Santa Barbara Premier" as your water polo club.
  4. Fill in your member and contact information.
  5. Create a USAWP login account (this will be different from your Premier/Club Assistant account).
  6. Complete the USAWP waiver.
  7. Pay for your athlete's membership.
  8. Record your athlete's membership number to use for the Premier/Club Assistant registration.

3. Register with Premier

All new members or renewals after April 2021 must also complete the club registration process. Registration is handled through our club management software, SportsEngine. Once you have registered, you will automatically be billed monthly on the day you complete registration.

  1. Click the button above to go to the member registration form.
  2. Click the "Sign In" button if you already have a SportsEngine account (not only from our club) or create a new SportsEngine account using your information, not your athlete's.
  3. Select your athlete's name if you have registered them on your SportsEngine account before, or enter their first and last name if you have not.
  4. Complete each section, enter your payment info, and submit the registration form. A confirmation will be sent to your email address.
