Dear Santa Barbara Premier players and families,

Congratulations to our high school boys for a successful season!  As we begin to transition from the high school boys season back to our winter club season we wanted to share some important updates regarding schedule and our ongoing Channel Islands United (CIU) alliance that is now entering year four.  

Winter Season Schedule

The official CIU/Premier Winter Session for all high school athletes will begin on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, and run through February 28, 2026.

We will also offer a two-week free preseason training for any USAWP-registered high school athletes who have completed their high school seasons. Preseason begins the week of November 17, 2025, with practices held:

• Monday & Wednesday: 5:00–7:00 PM @ Santa Barbara High School
• Tuesday & Thursday: 5:00–7:00 PM @ Dos Pueblos High School

Regular season practices will follow this schedule:

• Tuesday/Thursday (5:00–7:30 PM): Dos Pueblos High School
• Wednesday (6:00–9:00 PM): Joint CIU Training @ Santa Barbara High School
• Saturday (9:00 AM–12:00 PM): Joint CIU Training @ Oxnard High School

Saturday sessions will continue to include developmental groupings, allowing athletes to train in a focused environment suited to their skill level.

Channel Islands United 

After a successful fourth year in the CIU alliance SB Premier is proud to continue its participation for the upcoming 2025/26 competition season. Combining with our core alliance partners from Gold Coast and Pride has enabled Premier athletes to practice and compete against higher level competition. It has also enabled us to field additional B and C teams, have deeper rosters, and more playing time for our athletes. It is always our goal to place our athletes in the right competitive environment for their individual level and this partnership makes that possible.  

Tom Davis will again serve as the director of the high school program for CIU and will work alongside Premier’s Technical Director Wolf Wigo to ensure that the alliance is successful. Tom asked that we share his note below with our families regarding his plan and expectations for the upcoming season and a preliminary calendar of tournaments.
