Member Registration

These instructions are for all new and returning members of our club. Returning members must re-register every September so we can keep our database up to date.

1. Register with USA Water Polo

 Every SBPWP water polo player is required to join USA Water Polo for insurance purposes and additional benefits outlined on their website.

This must be done after the two-week trial period has expired.

A USA Water Polo membership is $87 per calendar year (for a silver membership).  If you already have a current membership, you can move on to step 2.

**USA Water Polo migrated to a new member registration system as of September 1st, 2021. All existing membership data has been transferred to the new site, but you may have to reset your password to login. Read More Here

  1. Go to the USA Water Polo registration site at this link.
  2. Under "Athlete Memberships", select a Silver membership or higher and click the "Sign Up" button at the bottom of the page.
  3. Select "California" and "Santa Barbara Premier" as your water polo club.
  4. Fill in your member and contact information.
  5. Create a USAWP login account (this will be different from your Premier/Club Assistant account).
  6. Complete the USAWP waiver.
  7. Pay for your athlete's membership.
  8. Record your athlete's membership number to use for the Premier/SportsEngine registration.

2. Register with Premier

All new and returning members need to register on the 2021-22 registration form before coming to practice.

*** NOTE: ALL Santa Ynez athletes should select the "Santa Ynez" team to ensure you are given the correct invoice cost & team communication group.

Choose your athlete's team when registering based on their age on August 1st, 2022.

18 & Under 17 or 18 on August 1st, 2022 Between 8/2/2003 and 8/1/2005
  1. Click the button above to go to the member registration form.
  2. Click the "Sign In" button if you already have a SportsEngine account (not only from our club) or create a new SportsEngine account using your information, not your athlete's.
  3. Select your athlete's name if you have registered them on your SportsEngine account before, or enter their first and last name if you have not.
  4. Complete each section, enter your payment info, and submit the registration form. A confirmation will be sent to your email address.

3. Pay your invoice

After you register on the member registration form, an invoice will be sent shortly to the provided parent email address. The invoice is sent for all 11 months of the 2021-22 season, and you have the option to pay monthly on the first of the month or for the entire season at once.

  1. Open the email with the subject "New Bill from Santa Barbara Premier Water Polo Club"
  2. Click the "Make a Payment" button
  3. Choose to enroll in monthly autopay or pay balance in full
  4. Enter your payment information and submit the payment

2021-22 Monthly Registration Cost

Member dues will be auto-charged monthly on the first of the month through July after you receive your first invoice.

Registration Fees:
10 & Under: $100/month
12 & Under: $170/month
14, 16, 18 & Under: $190/month
ALL Santa Ynez Athletes: $120/month

* Each additional athlete will receive a $15 discount as a credit on their invoice as a part of our sibling discount program.

** High School athletes will be auto-billed monthly from November through July (not Aug-Oct)
